Well I have a 1980 k10 small block 350 5.7. So the problem is it used to start and when you hit the gas it bog down and die. I did a normal tune up plugs wire cap and rotor. Still same problem so I had my Rochester quadrajet rebuilt I also replaced all vacuum lines thought maybe loss is vac. When I first started it up it sound good ran for 5 sec then died. What I know is its getting gas, good strong spark so I'm at a loss
