Having my 85 Sierra painted, so going to upgrade all the exterior trim pieces to look good as new. Was looking a new OEM looking dumbo mirrors (I like the stock look of these) and see they come in Chrome or Stainless Steel. Can't see any difference on-line so was trying to decide what direction to go when ordering. Any advice here on the better choice?

I came back, armed with pictures. The left mirror assembly is rusted chrome and was only a few years old. The passenger mirror is a rusted chrome head in a stainless base. The difference is obvious.
