Removed cruise, lost converter lockup?

If that's the case try to move the brake switch under the dash by the column closer to the arm that depresses it when the brake pedal is released. Have you noticed the brake lights staying on? After I swapped pedals to manual I had to adjust it till it was right.

Yup, the brake switch ratchets for adjustment.

the brake lights do no stay on at all. It disengages the brake lights all the time, it's just that it's like it does not close the loop for TCC.

Mine has two switches and I believe both are adjustable.

on a schematic I have, it shows the 4 prong brake/cruise switch.. and then another small switch above that? Is that the one you are talking about? I haven't got up under the dash to look yet.

Yeah one has four prongs.and the other is two I believe

it is since they did the swap. It has an Accel HEI distributor with adjustable vacuum advance and a 4175 holley carb.

why do you ask?
