Hopefully posting in the right section. Just got my hands on a c60 with a 366 & new Process 5 speed trans, 2 speed axel, 20ft bed. Cab is rusted gone, I have a cab off a regular pickup and need to know if it'll bolt to the c60 fenders & hood, I know it'll bolt to the cab mounts. If I have read right these trucks also came as short hood versions not sure if mine is that kind or not.

from my quick research, it appears that the medium duty trucks retained the same cab as the prev gen chevy in most ways except minor interior touches until a certain year, in which they changed to the gen of these trucks.. but the fitment would have differences that are likely style, but Im gueessing the way in which the fenders and front end hookup are different just from pics, could be made to work id think.

The floor and lower firewall are different on the C60 cabs. They have a small back window too, although that doesn't matter as far as swapping goes.

Whole floor or possibly just a different hump for a larger trans?

I dont know a BUNCH about it, but I support your efforts 100%.
Make it easy and I may follow suit.

Seems like EIGHT INCH difference to make the bodylines meet.

Be thinking BODY LIFT

The fenders/cowl is the tuff parts to get. Y U NO post pix?

EIGHT inch bodylift, Junior.

Yes? Eight inches up?

Then you gotta raise the bed eight inches too ... i think. I own a tilt front 1982 Thomas schoolbus nose as my venture into c60 awesomeness.

I honestly don't remember. It's a much flatter floor in general and doesn't have the humps under the seat, I remember that much. The C60 cab won't work on a pickup, but the other way around might be doable.

Pretty much the same as the C/K 10 -30 Series. I didn't know the Floor was different, I knew the problem with the firewall.

but it would make sense because of the Orenatined engine options & Transmissions 2/4wd as well. Majority were 2wd very rare occasions you can find a 4wd c60-70 etc

Medium dutys have flat floors where pickup cabs have a raised rear seat hump.
