Rather push my chevy than drive a ford!

I have been a chevy guy from childhood I currently own 2 square bodies and have owned one other square body and a total of 9 different year chevy trucks! My first was a 72 Cheyenne LB 2x4, then came 69 SB 2x4, 96 Z71 LS Silverado ex cab SB 4x4, 74 LB Custom Deluxe 4x4, 00 LS Silverado ex cab SB 4x4, 67 LB 2x4. I have a 05 ex cab LB 4x4 WT. The 2 square bodies I currently own are a 79 Cheyenne SB 4x4 lifted on 38s all the goodies cut through conversion, and a 73 Custom Deluxe SB 2x4 3rd owner bone stock working AC maintenance records from 78 on almost immaculate original condition. I plan to doll up and hot rod the 73 out and hopefully this will be good resource for the project. My name is Nick!

Me too especially because in CA you have to smog anything passed 75, so very few to no add ons allowed, gonna go all out on this one!

Well I did a couple things to my truck (73) 2x4 today and figured I would share. Biggest thing I did was pulled the old american racing wagon wheels off and stripped all the old crappy white off and repainted black and polished up the original center caps as best I could. That made a huge difference in the look. Next I took the giant towing mirrors off and ordered some 4 3/8" round. Removed bug gaurd and bumper extender, protector things and polished the front chrome bumper. Also the whole passenger side of my truck was yellow from the trim down for some reason, I took some very diluted aluma brite to that and it took it right off without affecting the paint underneath which is very exciting. Mirrors should be in in about 2 days and I have 2 more wheels to do. Doing that right is very time consuming. Then gonna paint the rear barden black and remove the mud flaps. I will post pics whenever its all back together.
