Radio turns on after ignition is turned off

Every once in a while my radio turns on after the key is turned off. It did it the other day when I went to the grocery store. I came out and music was playing from my truck. Weird as hell. Now today I'm installing my speakers and naturally turning the ignition on and off several times to test things out. Well it just did it again. Turned the radio off then turned the ignition off. I just happened to glance at the radio and saw the clock was lit up.

Is my ignition switch going bad or something or does my truck have gremlins?

Smack the dash and see if it turns off.

My '86 Celebrity has done the same thing for years, I think it's a combination of a bad ignition switch and being slightly out of adjustment. Just closing the door after getting out will shut it off. Kinda like those fancy new cars, lol.

Lol. I actually haven't tried the smacking the dash thing yet.

I'll have to see about replacing the ignition switch I guess. Or at least messing with it and seeing if I can adjust it.

Yah it might be kicking the ACC circuit in.
