Radiator mounting differences?

The fan pictured actually has the other piece, its laying in the truck cab. BUT that makes sense now, my truck had a manual trans AND no AC so it would have very littler need for bigger radiator, me thinks.
However, it doesnt hurt to move up lol.

Just called my local rad shop, they said assuming the radiator needs just a clean and inspection(full of ick) and no rebuilding, they think around 100-150 bucks for the rad. Then on my other one, said its about 50 to solder a nipple. These rates seem pretty good? The price for radiator assuming its all it needs in my opinion is perfect because 120+ for decent alum. and i like brass/copper

My local shop has quoted me $60 for a clean and inspection. Hourly rate plus parts cost for any repairs needed after that. If your shop is going to be acid bath, inspect, and repaint with no repairs for $120, that seems not terrible to me. You can get a new aluminum radiator for that much, but a new brass one will be up to $300 and no idea where it was made and what the quality of it is.

My radiator was about $160 to R&R it (California prices). I think he also added a new stem for the radiator cap.
