I have an '83 C10 Suburban, that doesn't seem to have any hooks or eyes at the front. It's just got a rubber skirt.

I want to know the best place to hook the tow rope, I'm just dragging it from the yard to the slab in front of the garage and back, maybe about 25 yards in a straight line. Towing it back is easy, I have a hitch and the hook goes through it fine.

I just dragged it out the barn to work on, I threw the rope round the front wishbone to tow it forward a bit, then dragged it backward.

Remove the rubber front spoiler and wrap a tow rope arund the front cross member or hook in one of the openings on the frame horn

Is the frame horn the bit that runs to the front from the cross member?

Either side of the frame between front cross member and where the bumper mounts.
