Anybody have any info on who sells the best exhaust system thats already bent up just needs to be installed. Thinkin of some headers and a full system or just replacing everything from the manifolds back. Any comments good or bad would be helpful. Thanks:patriot:

By the way i live in North west Arkansas so it dont have to be emissions legal or quiet for that matter.

I have not ordered anything yet but JCwhitney.com has some promising looking kits for a decent price.

I have this kit on my pickup with headers and my suburban with the stock manifolds, It`s cheap and really easy to install just get whatever mufflers you choose.

I bought mine from my local speed shop for about the same price.

I have the dynomax kit and the hooker kit. I would call the dynomax kit decent, and the hooker kit good. They are both only 2.25 tubing, but the dynomax is only crush bent (not an issue with something like a 305).

I'm running a single in, dual out with side turn downs behind the rear tires. I had the whole thing fabbed up for $225 including the one muffler. I'm guess it would been around $300-$350 for a true dual setup. Seems like for about the same price you'll pay for a kit, you could get a shop to do it all. Just a thought.......

Yea im sure i can get a shop to do it but right now the PO hacked the exhaust really bad and it sounds and more importantly runs terrible. So im trying to find something i can do here at the house short of headers with mufflers attached to them. Pipe size really isnt that important right now since im only running a really tired stock 350.

In my 89 K-1500 I had I slapped a flowmaster 40 single in dual out behind the cat and had dual pipes turned out in front of the pass side rear tire. Sounded good and was uncomplicated.

Well cant use a single in muffler since the y pipe was hacked and its true duals now off the stock down pipes> I think im just gonna get some headers and tow it over to the exhaust shop since i work for a wrecker service lol would make it a lil easier.

My dad's 69 GMC C-30 had the dual kit with the bullet mufflers that exited in fron of both rear wheels. That kit fit fine and lasted quite a while. From JCW.

I just looked on the site real quick but couldn;t find it, but I know it is in that catalog I have at home. They bolt to the stock ex manifolds.

probably a Walker/Dynomax kit. both Hooker and Dynomax make both header and manifold kits.

C10

Dynomax kit: headers $127 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/WLK-89007/
Dynomax kit: manifolds $146 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/WLK-89006/
Hooker kit: headers $170 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HOK-16523HKR/
Hooker kit: manifolds $200 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HOK-16622HKR/

K10

Dynomax kit: headers $117 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/WLK-89004/
Dynomax kit: manifolds $140 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/WLK-89003/
Hooker kit: headers $170 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HOK-16526HKR/
Hooker kit: manifolds $200 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HOK-16623HKR/
Thrush kit: header back (includes 2 mufflers) $270 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/WLK-89024/
Flowtech kit: headers $128 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/BIG-51525FLT/
Flowtech kit: manifolds $130 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/BIG-52525FLT/

the C10 kit will fit any C10/1500/20/2500/30/3500, just as the K10 kit will fit up to a 1 ton.

Looks like if you want anything bigger than 2-1/4" pipe you're going to have to go to an exhaust shop.

probably a Walker/Dynomax kit. both Hooker and Dynomax make both header and manifold kits.

I'll have to look in the catalog now, it is bothering me. It had 2 manifold to muffler pipes, two glass packs, and two tailpipes that cam out of the muffler, did a *45 and exited in front of the rear tires on the same angle.
