Hey guys. My diffs leak like hell. I changed the front pinion seal last week and it dried up till today. I noticed the pinion yoke has a nice deep groove around it. Im assuming this is why it wont seal, and assuming the rear is the same way. My question, Where can I buy a new yoke for a 10 bolt front axle and a 12 bolt rear?

In the past I have fixed this issue with a repair sleeve sold along with the seal. It was a kit I would just request at my local Bumper to Bumper. In your case I seem to recall you had an issue with the rear yoke holding the joint tight so you may want a replacement yoke for the rear anyway. I would think the yokes would be pretty easy to find from a good axle shop or supply house.

You're both exactly right. What happens, the old seals hardens, and it does actually cut a groove in the yoke. And yes, there are repair sleeve kits. It's like sliding a cam bearing over the yoke and using an oversize seal to match the sleeve.

Here is list of 12 bolt yokes from Randy's R&P.

BTW, if you are going to replace yolk, I'd try to find one with the U bolt style for the U joint. Straps aren't cool for off-roading. They can snag and get ripped off. All the Rock Crawlers convert to U bolt style for that reason.
