Talked to a friend of my moms today who knows a good deal about painting. Said If I prep the truck for paint and help him out then he will just charge me for the paint. So now I have to decide...Metallic burnt orange or Metallic Charcoal Grey?

I was gonna do Metallic Charcoal Gray on mine many years ago before it became a trail rig but never got around to it. So that would be my choice between the two. If I had my choice it would be Olive Drab tinted spray-on bedliner lol.

Colors is a personal preferance thing, so I say leave it up to your own liking. Interior color is a good to know as bucket asked. Myself, I like gray much better than the burnt orange. But that might just be cuz I am an OU Sooner football fan and TX Shorthorns are our rival that we call the Red River Rivalry or Shootout, when OU and TX play. Our 2 biggest games of the year are TX and OK State (OSU).

The interior is going be painted black piece by piece and I personally like the grey, but my favorite color is Orange...go gators...so its a toss up. I guess I could do the grey with some Orange accents like maybe paint some of the crossover steering Orange along with the differential cover. Dammit there are just so many visions for this truck that I have to run with.

Well then there you go. I think with black interior, Gray would be best too, if tan, Orange woudl be best. But when it comes to your team, then what's there to decide. Orange it would be if it were me. I had thought of doing a Crimson and Cream 2 tone on one of my trucks too. I'd just drive it on Game day with my OU flags.

My truck is sunset orange metallic pearl. It`s the GM color found on hummers.

Also an Avalanche color too and I think still a color code still used. I know I have seen an AVY in the new body style with the color.

Orange is a great color. I'd opt for the rotor glow metallic color found on a few of the mitsubishi models. You really have to see it in person to do it justice, but I'm sure you could do an image search on google to put you in the ballpark.

Why just the one color? Do a two tone Grey on the bottom, and Orange on top, or vise verse. I like both of the colors and I think you could combine the two.
