Dude, you’re now the luckiest person I know! :happy175: my first exposure to the GMT400 was when my dad bought a 92 Sierra new off the lot. That sumbish leaked on the passenger floorboard almost right off the lot!! It definitely didn’t have much age when it started for sure and he never fixed it
Mine doesn't leak either.

I still wouldn't mind getting a 400 4x4 myself. I want to lower it, make it AWD, a Syclone on steroids. I'd consider a Blazer/Yukon 2 door too as a Typhoon on steroids.

Couldn’t resist taking an iPotato pic coming out of the gas station. New lights and grill up front. This angle also shows the metal work I need to do on the bed and door. The passenger side is certainly the side that needs the most work before I paint it.

Also need to de-orange those tow hooks

Two things...

1. Going to grab a new-to-me seat for this thing tomorrow.
2. realized that this thing has center-bolt valve covers on it. I thought that was a vortec head thing that came in the later GMT400's and not '92. Am I delusional or what? Did someone upgrade these heads, possibly?

No, it was just a later small block thing. I remember that discussion when I had my '87 IROC, some of the later TBI vehicles got center bolts

This is an '89 we have at work...
