Oil Pressure Sensor Location

The newest problem. Watching several videos and post here, still not sure. The sensor on the top back of the engine under the distributor appears longer than all the parts the various stores are showing are right for my truck (87 350). Now I see there is another sender down by the oil filter. My oil pressure gauge is staying pegged at past 60, but returns when I turn the key off. Which one of these senders are the cause? Also are the units that are shorter still comparable to my longer (top sender) as long as the two wire connector fits?

I would say the top one behind the distributor, known for leaking

The bottom one is the gauge sender,it has a single wire on it. The O.P. switch has 2 or 3 depending on application. Unplug it the gauge will drop to zero if the sender is the problem.

The single wire one that looks like a bell is for the gauge the two terminal one is for the fuel pump.
