Yep, well I was around then. haha The rear exhaust is called a Bellflower tip (named after Bellflower, CA) where I cruised the strip a lot. Usually seen on long, low cruisers...Impala, Rivieras, etc. But I wanted a different look. The dumps were on every car in my era.
That's right! I knew they were called something but couldn't remember "Bellflower" :)

I am an old gearhead (age 74) living in Sheffield, AL. Name is Tom.

Just finished my 1982 C10 LWB...started out as a ruff farm truck.
3 1/2" front drop with 2.5" drop spindles and 1" drop coil; rear drop 4" with hangers
and shackles. Rides nice. All new suspension, brakes, crate 350 and rebuilt TH350.

You might like my vanity tag....hahaha

Good to know ya Tom, rad truck.

Wish I had a topper...it's cut up for shade? Only the windows remain, yes? Pretty cool.

They are 15x8 Corvette style rally's fro Jeg's ($58 each). If you get some try for 3.75 or 4" backspacing. I got 4.25" and had to put 1/4" spacers to keep from rubbing lower control atm.

I don't know really. Just wanted something unusual, and wanted to be able to keep the rain and criminal element away from my things. Plus I may camp and have a air mattress made to fit the bed. I plan on doing static cling window tint (it has plastic Lexan panes) that'll help a bit.
My daughter hates it. hahaha

I just re-did all the rubber trim, and replaced the broken "bubble" windows with Lexan. Gonna put static cling tint on the windows for shade/privacy. Can't do actual window tint as it out-gases and eats the plastic...and bubbles up. zI may do some camping so I went with the aluminum shell (was on a 78 LWB...he claimed it was bought new in 78...?
