New Guy-84 C-10 Questions??

Hi, I just bought a 84 SB C-10. It has been changed up over the years with a different motor (350??) it also has a top loader 4 speed in it that I'm not sure if its stock for a two wheel drive truck? Dual tanks and a gauge that doesn't work. So please bear with all my questions. Also there are no badges on the out side of the truck but it does have a Silverado badge on the dash? I will try to add a pic. Is the daul tank common??Thanks Scott

Welcome, dual tanks were pretty common. Most non working gas gauges are a bad ground. Do a forum search for some good troubleshooting threads. It could also be the tank switching valve.

Is the option code sticker still inside the glove box door? You can figure out the trim level based on the option code.
