This week I had new control arms, tie rod ends, pitman arm, drag link, and front shocks installed on my 83 C20.

Yesterday I picked it up from the shop that did the work (very competent and reputable and used them for years) and on the drive home I noticed that the driver's side front is VERY harsh going over bumps and hitting potholes.

Like bone shaking, spine compressing harsh, like there's no spring.

Also, seems like the driver's side is sitting ever-so-slightly higher than the passenger side.

What could that be? New shock (Gabriel) frozen in the fully extended position?

No question the shop will take care of it, but it's Labor Day weekend and I want to play with my truck, so if it's a simple fix I wanted to try it out myself.

Thanks.

Have a helper bounce the front end (or attempt to) why you look under for something amiss.
