Yes on replacement engines,bare blocks I doubt it. But the stamp was just CE complete engine,no details.

I have been considering it. A couple weeks ago I almost bought a C3 Vette that had a blown 383 stoker. That would have been a good engine swap I think. Then I would have sold the Vette at a profit, with my 400 in it. It was a cheap car because the interior was thrashed, and because it was an estate sale from someone that croaked. The kids were just liquidating everything cheap.
Turbocharges work well too!

My 388 is built on a bare 1pc, 4 bolt, oe roller casting, it didn't have anything on the front pad and it was stock deck height
