well, i got my spare swapped in, i did jbweld too just in case. no idea if it would leak or not and now i probably won't know. I think the old one leaked at one point until it built up enough crap inside the yoke to stop the leak. when i did u joints i wire wheeled it clean and that might be what did it. there is a lot of evidence of an older leak at some point in the trucks life.
