Truck has mods which makes stock throttle cable too short. Clifford Water intake, weber 38 dgas, and headers on the 250. So the carb is in a different location. How do i measure so i get the correct length t cable? Firewall to the bracket at carb? Is buying the lokar pedal worth it so that a lokar cable can be used?

I used a motionraceworks.com cable, they’re kinda expensive but seem like quality stuff for aftermarket

IIRC they can be trimmed to length then the inner cable slid back in and adjusted to the pedal

ETA: I was doing a Vortec 350 swap and none of the stock GM cables we had would fit
