I aired up the airlines and it helped the rubbing issue, but now it is a bit too raked for me... still looks mean, but I think I’m going to run no air in the shocks and have the occasional rub hahah.

Is there a way to have the rear spacers shaved down a 1/2"?

the wheels are 16x8 on the rear w/4” bs and 1.25” spacers. I am considering doing 16x10 wheels w/ 5” bs which would probably be the ideal fit, but the 285 would definitely look too skinny on it. The side wall just looks like a pencil eraser rubbed it, no scoring to speak of.

I'm not sure 10's will help. I think it would be worse as you are stretching the sidewall out as the rim is now an inch wider on each side of the centerline. The wheel would be wider than your tread width more than likely. I have 305's on 10's (4.5" BS). The set up is pretty square looking. FYI 285/75/16's and 305/70/16's are the same height (32.8").

I think it would be easiest to get a thinner adapter or maybe a custom 16x8 wheel with a 5 lug center and get rid of the spacer. I have no clue what backspace you would need using a 5 lug as I've never messed with 1/2 parts. The two trucks I had, I swapped to 3/4 ton axles.

Those tires look great! Nice set up, I love it!

I will probably just leave my set up the way it is. It is fully functional if driven right. I would like to do 10’s and 305’s. The 305’s that I’ve seen are way too knobby, not my style on a a lowered truck. Plus I am nothing short of rough on my tires, I need an affordable and sustainable replacement tire. 285’s it is haha.

I just put some 17x9 +20mm vision wheels on my 84 c10. 275/55r17 tires. It’s at stock height right now but I will be doing and axle flip in the Back and cutting 2 coils off the front until I get sick of the rough ride lol.

Swap those 1.25 spacers with 1/2 or 3/4 and you should have the perfect set up.. drop the rear down with no rubbing.

I still have the stock wheels, if I load it down I can always swap the 235’s on. I like the set up with the 16’s though, It rubs only a smidge. Cant say I dislike the 15’s, but they don’t look bad.
