I ask because I have buckets of bits and ends that a large portion seem to be stock from squares, and i might just have one laying around that I can use. I ask because I found two that looked like what I mentioned.

1981 GMC no AC

Got to like a good breathing 2 snorkel air cleaner.

Heater hose, 2 rubber-coated clamps and a bolt. The green strip heavy duty heater hose would not fit well in the smaller factory clamp.

What caused your truck to have 2 snorkels from factory? Increased hot air for the air filter valve? or just more fresh air intake on that big block?

is that a corvette air cleaner or was it an option on our trucks?
The knockout was in the rad support on the drivers side so got all the parts from the right side at a wrecker and built a factory looking dual snorkel. It all looks stock.

I added the second snorkel. Yes the BB needed more air. Believe it or not, I found on a Dodge van a factory 2 snorkel system. On the rat engine, when still warming up and the heat stove is closed to the larger cold air intake, if I stabbed the throttle there was hesitation. This I found out this was because the flap in the air cleaner snorkel would take that time to slap open.

The dodge 2 snorkel, had the second snorkel flap vacuum ported directly to manifold vacuum. No heat stove on that one. As you stab the throttle, low manifold vacuum the second snorkel opens right away.

I went through great lengths to make sure I could start that engine stone cold, and then drive it! Oil pressure up, good, go.

Mine is a little bit of a mess. I got zip ties holding my stuff taunt. I need to get a fender-hose clamp to hold them down, but this is what I got.
