my leaf spring bushings on my 85 are dry rotted and need to go. Looking on rockauto theres about a dozen different bushings. I'm looking to replace them with rubber, not poly. Can someone steer me in the right direction? Front springs are 6 in lift, rear are stock 1/2 tons

Why not poly? I'm not aware of any rubber bushings available for the aftermarket lift springs.

squeak and ride harder. Why is there a difference if they are stock or lift springs? Don't stock springs and aftermarket springs have the same size eyes?

Never measured for myself, but I think they are different sizes. I know there are different size bushings depending on the lift spring manufacturer. Also, I've never had any poly bushings that squeak. I just coat them with brake pad grease when I install them (it's basically dielectric grease).

I know we had to machine a set down when we ordered poly bushings for lift leafs.

I have both sets for the rear leafs, Moog, eneded up needing new leafs.

PM me if interested, i can grab the numbers off the box.
