Trying to find a lift kit for my K30 CUCV project. Im transferring everything from my 87 k20 to my 85 k30 cucv frame. My k20 has a 6" suspension lift and a 3" body lift. I may buy a new lift for the k30 cucv but not sure if a regular k30 lift from skyjacker would fit. Does anyone know?

the only real difference would be the rear spring width and the ubolts.
dana 60 uses bigger u bolts and studs witch would need to be longer for the extra springs.
and the rear k30 ubolts go down with a craddle under the axle k20 ubolts up with plate on top of spring

the 1 ton mounts the springs closer to the frame and shocks inside the frame

the 3/4 ton springs are mounted farther from the frame so a shock will mount between the frame and spring

basically you will not be able to swap rear axles without modification i swapped spring hangers on my crew cab if you need to know how to do it read my build thread

and you may run into a problem if you have lift rear springs they have 2 lenghts 56'' or 52'' springs but the rear shackle mount can be moved 4'' either way pretty easy

In addition to what Kleedus said...

CUCV frames and K30 frames are the same.

Front lift springs are the same for 1/2, 3/4 & 1 ton trucks. Off the shelf lift companies use the same springs for any of these applications, the only thing that changes is the ubolt hardware like Kleedus said.
