I agree on never going with FR column again. I'm not impressed. I figured the geometry on the cable wouldn't work since the OEM rolled around the sleeve and made a straight pull on the indicator. I might try something else that replicates the OEM. Thanks for the quick reply and input on your personal experiences.

Wow, I just looked at the cost of these Flaming River columns. You could send your original column and have it rebuilt for much less plus you know it will fit.
