K20/K30 bolt patterns

Does the K20 and K30(single axel) share the same wheel nut pattern in '86? Looking to pick up a 2wd K20 as a parts truck for some little stuff. Hoping I can use the front hubs/spindles to build a trailer axel, but would like for them to share common spare tires. If not, will wait it out for another single K30. Thanks in advance!

Same exact wheel bolt pattern, youll be fine, no worries at all. They're both 8x6.5.

Any chevy or GMC c20, c30, k20, k30, c25, c35, k25, k35, c2500, c3500, k2500, k3500, up to about mid 2010s i think are all the 8x6.5 standard. Also older ford 3/4 and 1 ton up to mid to late 90s, older dodge up to mid to late 90s, as well as IH and studebaker, and most if not all trailers are all the same too.
Was only as of late that chevy went to metric style 8 lug, ford and dodge went metric late 90s I think.

Some newer aftermarket wheel inner hole dont clear the big full float rear axle hubs and/or 4x4 front hubs. Most do though.
Any stock Chevy wheel will fit no problem though.

That's the thing that will bite you, the center bore on old 6 lugs are smaller than the same bolt pattern on new wheels. I can't speak for an 8 lug though.

They should all be 16in. Newer ones that are 17 or bigger are the new metric ones, and I'm not sure they ever made 15in 8 lugs, probabaly don't fit the brakes.

I ran a pair on the back of my C20 Suburban for a while.

The camo '77 also has a set. The PO had to do a bunch of grinding on the front calipers for them to fit. It's a D60. I'd assume the same would be needed for a C30 with the larger calipers. The rear has [front] calipers and rotors for a K20 and they fit fine.

Close. But a bit off on the years. And all the dually models of each brand now have a larger pattern than the srw trucks.
This link below is a good resource.
FWIW, Ram 2500/3500 srw trucks are still 8x6.5 up thru current models.
Makes for a good election of new or newer 8 lug takeoff wheels for all the older trucks. Since Frod and GM ditched the 8x6.5 pattern in 1999 and 2011 respectively.

I'm seriously considering Vison Manx wheels. I'm coming up needing new tires soon and I really want 17 inch wheels. I like the look, fit and price of these 8 lug wheels.

Swapping to 16" tires for the 10 ply advantage, means upgrading the wheel lugs to 14mm (or at least 1/2"), so the un sprung weight can be managed safely for highway driving... drill like you own it... be safe. The acorn's will bottom out and ruin your wheels if you try to use small size lugs on the larger 6 lug wheels, at 16". Your tires must match size for 4WD to work correctly, without breaking SH it.
I don’t understand what you’re saying here.
Aside from the discussion being about 8 lug wheels K20/30, I don’t understand what you’re talking about drilling out and small and big 6 lug.
