Jeep Cherokee steering shaft on non power steering gear box

I have an 82 custom deluxe with no power steering, and i was wondering if the jeep Cherokee steering shaft will still swap over. I can modify it if need be. If I figure it out before i get an answer I'll post back. Thank you all

I'd take a look at the inputs for the gearboxes on Pwr Steering then NON Pwr Steering trucks and go from there. As long as they look like the Pwr steering ones it should work fine. I had to use a bit of a longer bolt to attach the shaft to the column portion of my 91 but otherwise they're direct replacements.
