My current solution to add extra ports to the primary fuel tank is to get two npt bungs tig-welded on to the tank.
Anybody done something different for secondary to primary fuel transfer tie in?

What's the goal? To fill one tank from the other? What you're going to spend welding pipe couplers into the tank, you can just buy a tank switch, and be done with it.

My goal is to set up the fuel system to able to push LS fuel pressure for the future.

The factory switcher can be too restrictive on the return side for systems pushing 60 psi plus systems and has always been a reliability issue.

Simplest solution is to go to a single tank but I still have to weld a patch on the box filler hole.

Since I have the tanks already i figured to convert the secondary tank to a transfer tank.
