I just got my KYB GAS ADJUST shocks. With the old shock still on I measure the mounting bolt from top to bottom
and its 12 1/2 inches on the stepside

Then I checked the 86454 truck and they are the same

Then I realized I have a big block with small block springs!!
How to I find out if the stepside has been lowered or not. I
dont think it has up front front I did put shackles in the rear.
but the truck is not low. I ordered factory ride height shocks.
So I want to figure this out before I install them and find out
they are wrong and cant return them LOL

here it is. I think its normal ride height. Whats it look like to you. Might look a little lower but because of the
shorter tire

These will allow the front to lay the a-arm an still not bottom out the shock (you'd have to remove the bumpstop first) there is plenty of travel in the oe replacement shocks for these trucks. Run these on the front for stock, dropped it don't matter. I've put many of them on an everyone is always happy with the ride.

That truck isn't lowered in the front, doesn't look like it to me anyhow
