I replaced the old Rough Country Shocks out for Skyjackers. The RC shocks were over 10 years old they were a good shock. They were gas charged. They rode rough. IMO they are much better suited for off road use. The Skyjackers ride a bit smoother. They are a Hydro shock only. Thats the reason I bought them. The truck has a 2" lift and rides on 32's. I also added a pair of rear shock braces why because I saw them on a TV show and they said I needed them.
