i call this a vacuum valve

We always referred to it as a transmission modulator valve, but I'm not sure of the actual name. When I'm at the shop tomorrow I'll see if I still have any around.

its a vacuume control valve between my vacuume pump and the modulator on the transmission.. ive ordered a new one from rockauto

These were used on the TH350-400 transmissions if I am correct, not sure on Manuals... But I believe they are called Vaccum Regulator Valve (VRV) For short.

I have a page here from GM about them, My 1982 C20 (3/4) J-Code truck has this And Since I am selling the TH-400 from it I will most likely convert it over to run a 700r4 Transmission in-case I need a backup motor for my LH4 (C-Code) truck, That has Deleted Emissions but still runs the 700r4.

But I don't know where you can buy a new one, I've only looked that part up for the Fast Idle Solenoid (Other side that has the Plunger on it)
