In my searches for an angled truck box, I ran across this site. They claim to have a custom made box to fit our trucks along with amp mounting. Might be worth a look if anyone is interested. Definitely takes up the space behind the seat which I'm not a huge fan of, and from the picture, it sure doesent look as though you get much seat movement.

Here you go. JL 13" shallow truck sub with custom box to spec. with the seat all the way back. JL 600W Amp. Stinger Capacitor felt like I bought a bigger amp and stopped the dash from blinking when I turn it up loud. Kenwood 4x9s and Kenwoods in the dash too. If I could change anything it would be component speakers instead of the coaxials, and the 13 can still handle more 200w juice at the OHM rating it has. I would like to switch the factory locations of the HVAC and Stereo, similar to @c10_pandemic on Instagram's setup. I am 6'2" and am sick of hitting my knee on the deck!

Great set up. Great picks. What did you use to secure the amps and sub to and how did you secure everything to the back of the cab?

Great set up. Like the place for the fire extinguisher. How did you secure it down?

get your sub box and mount a wide piece of plywood thickness of your preference to make "wings". mount them left/right of the box.

Velcro keeps the storage compartment secure and a couple of screws ( storage compartment to sub) keep the sub secure. Also, the back of the seat also helps. No holes in the cab.

I put all 3 of my amps under the seat.
Hey there!
I'm looking for an amp to go under the front bench seat in an '81 Burb...however at the moment I don't have the seats to check clearances..any ideas the dimensions on your amps?
Thanks a bunch!

Since mine are under the seat, towards the rear, I can't hardly measure them.
I think they are about 9"x7", and less than 3" tall. I have 2 under one side and the 3rd under the other side.

A Suburban should have a lot more height under the seat due to the floor board being lower. Pickups have a raised floor to allow room for the fuel tanks.

That helps a lot, thanks!
