High Mileage Questions

i have a 2003 Chevy 1500 with 324,500 miles on it, just wondering what i can do to get many more miles out of the motor and tranny.

It's a bit late to be asking that question now. If it's been well maintained all it's life, then just keep doing maintaining it. If not, just leave it alone and drive it til it quits. If you're trying to ask what miracle products exist, there isn't any IMO.

Ha! HR took my response! You should be happy you got that many miles out of it. Just keep doing what you have been doing with it regarding the routine maintenance.

Are you in MI? If you are, how the 'eff did you get that many miles on it without the body falling off?!

hey i am in michigan... idk she is in really good shape... rockers and cabs just went out, and some other body rust but not to bad... she is a tank

you sure it is still together with all the salt up here. That many miles without a rebuild is good, i just can't believe it isn't rotted away yet

Maybe a timing chain/sprockets.

We impounded a 96 k1500 today with alittle over 600k on it. Trans went out, but guy came to get it and going fix it. Says he's going for the million lol

Mine is 100% minus tires fluid plugs and other general maintenance parts
Still has stock battery too I believe
