After years of life happening my baby is now on the front burner and will remain there. Many years ago I bought a pair of Blazer buckets seats and mounted them to 1/4" aluminum plate then onto the stock bench seat slider brackets. Needed a wood block so they wouldn't rock left to right. Are separate, aftermarket mounts available to use these or is my plate mounting in need of improving?

I put buckets & a center console out of a suburban in my K30. Had to drill a couple additional holes in the floor & welded on nuts from the underside. Only kind of difficult part was making custom brackets to connect the front inner seat mounts to the floor. I guess the floor pan is different for trucks & burbs; don't know for sure about the blazer, but would guess it is the same way.

Bucket seat trucks and Suburbans had stand-offs welded to the floor for the inner seat track mounting.

Blazer floors are flat and use completely different tracks.

SloshTubz makes a killer bracket that I used for mounting up some buckets in my '85. He sells just the bracket and also has universal sliders as well

They're out of an '04/05 Subaru WRX (supposedly an STI), stumbled upon them on marketplace. For $200 and they were already blue, it was a no-brainer
