Recently installed a LMC Headlight Relay Harness on my truck. Junk.

It was wired completely wrong..Low were the highs, and never had all for on for Hi.

Well, got all that straighted out but now when the headlights are on dim, the Hi Beam indicator is on. Click to Hi, Indicator goes off :nono:

What wire(s) control the indicator?

It's an 85K10 with the Stacked Quads.

Thanks!

1985 is going to have the dimmer on the column. I am pretty sure that it goes from there to the indicator. Should be a light green wire.

I know which wire it is that feeds the dash light. That part works fine.

But somewhere the 'signal' is backwards. I don't know what wires give the indicator wire the signal.

Thanks

I don't think the "signal" can be backwards. When the switch is clicked to the brights, it also sends power to light up the indicator. I think when you rewired it, the low beams got wired to the hi beam portion of the switch.

Just switch the two leads to the relays.

Yup. That was it. The LMC harness was wired backwards. Go figure.

Thanks a lot guys!
