I apologize in advance if this has already been covered but I have an 85 with a 305, rochester carb and 700R4 transmission and I would like to remove all the emissions vacuum line spaghetti under the hood.
Don't need emissions here in MS and I have already removed the smog pump and plugged the tubes going to the exhaust manifolds.
There are several connections going to the intake and the thermostat housing. As you can see in the pics, some of these lines were actually broken off.
I have the stock air-cleaner and would like to keep the cruise control working and the vapor cannister as well.
Can someone tell me what some of these components are and what needs to be gone?
Also, where to plug in the vac advance on the carb.
