Hello, I am trying to redo the bed of my 1987 GMC R1500, I have been able to find most of the other parts needed but I can not find this part for the life of me. If anyone knows what this is or where I can find it please let me know. Thanks.

Pretty sure that something you'll need to fabricate- at least is flat

They're just splash shields that keep stuff/mud out of the bedsides. I haven't seen any repop them (yet), you could just remove the one that's still there and what's left of the other. It won't hurt anything. Or use the good one as a general pattern to fab up a new one for the other side

That's the idea anyway, but after 30 years they seem to start to collect stuff into the bedside and start rotting them from the inside out. Burby's are notorious for this. The wheel well seam in the middle corrodes, holes start to open up, and then the sht slinging off the tarrs starts to pile into those pockets.

One Burby fender I opened up to repair had 4-5 " of silt sitting inside there.

Make a template from the good one and cut them out of heavy plastic....

Yep. I personally wouldn't run them, even on a lowered 2wd truck for that very reason. I like to be able to wash out as many areas as I can periodically
