hello everyone,
43-year-old marine corp veteran. Taking over my fathers 74 C10 which sat for over 25 years. This project was a surprise for him before he got into an accident and so much has happened since then. Its now a love project as I hope to just finish it before anything crazy happens. He is an air force veteran during the Vietnam era and a prostate cancer survivor. His memory is shot, but I am hoping he can remember and enjoy the truck from a visual standpoint once it is finished. This has been a total learning process for me about this truck hobby and about parts and suspension. More details to come.

Welcome from North Mississippi.
First off, thanks to you and your Dad for your service in our military !!

Truck looks good so far. Mine is a family heirloom also, so I understand the importance.
Best of luck getting it going.

Thanks. Thats exactly what it is. This thing will forever remain with the family. My son is watching me do this and I hope he is learning the value as the time goes on.
