I recently pickup this 1985 C20 looking for a lowering kit that I don't have to cut up the bed? considering the switch 6/8.
also want to replace the side molding with original metal molding used set would be cool can anyone recommend a place that has these?

Welcome and VERY nice looking truck!
That probably IS the original molding color. I think Scottsdales got black with chrome stripes like that.
Either way, that molding is stick on and not metal (except for the original back corners), whether black or chrome.
But it’s almost as easy as peel n stick and precut kits are less than $150.

I'm also in a Scottsdale and yours appears correct just worn. My molding is original, but has been paint penned at some point.
