I think I am going to use Torx screws as opposed to phillips for the dash bezel...Just a little updated detail. :)

That is a good idea as they hold themselves onto the drive bit better when trying to navigate them into those small areas with big, clumbsy hands. :grd:

Getting it mostly functional is feasible...

Getting the dual zone functional will be a challenge and a half.:yucky:

Nahhhhh, its all where you place the sensors in the headliner. The headliner should cover all the wiring.

Dohh, wait, yes, you are right. The dual zone and blend doors etc, yes that will be hell. LMAO, I am thinking of the sensors, that is the easy part. The blending will be hell.

Lemme Guess !!! I bet he intends to put dual zone climate control in a SB truck??? Where driver side has his own settings, and passenger has their own settings. I had it in most of my 01 and later trucks, like both of my Avalanches.

Yep, Electronic Climate Control.

I was planning to use a 1989-94 Olds Cutlass ECC unit, but it's too wide. The 1995-97 unit is almost dead on. But the only way to get ECC was with dual zone and rear defroster. The defogger is not a problem, I've actually added an electric rear defog to a car that never had it.

Surely there has to be a GM model with ECC that will fit the SB. Ther is a little wiggle room with the dash bezel. Better to small than to big actually, then I'd think you could use a DIN stereo trim piece to make it look nice.

Out of all the other things to modify on an old truck its so hard to believe you landed on that. That is the one single thing I hated most about the 07 sierra I drove. But thinking outside the box is cool! way to be different!:pedobear:

I cam going to check others, the biggest thing is that many were used with a BCM, including many Cadillacs from 1989 on. I might see what size a Bonneville ECC is...But they shine red when lit at night.
