So I'll start it off, in my experience over 35yrs and trying just about every header out there on a number of different vehicles cars and trucks, I've found that it's pretty hard to beat Hedman for fitment and ease of installation... Ok, let the bashing begin, lol.

So headman is the way to go? No fitment issues?

Well, I've never had an issue yet with the "right" header of course, never tried adapting one vehicle to another, but I've know people to do that then blame the header for not fitting right.

You might look at Summit Racing Full-Length Headers
I have used them and have always have had good luck
I used them when I did my 4 speed conversions
and had no issues
