hahaha, I drove an 05 GXP for quite awhile. I was dating that chick that had bucks and she traded in her Monte Carlos SS for a GXP. It was OK. I wasn't impressed with the fact you couldn't rotate the tires and it didn't come with a spare at all. It came with a can of fix a flat in the truck. Not much head room either. Although the DOD (displacement on demand) did work flawless. It did OK on mpg on the hwy for a V8, and when you stepped on it, you didn't even notice the other 4 cylinders kicking in as if they were never off.

Why could you not rotate the tires?

Probably had directional tires but not sure why you couldn't just do the front to back type rotate rather than doing the criss cross rotate.

front and back are different sizes.

See there, with the help of everyone, you got it all.

O77 is right, they are directional, you can't cross them at all, and Retro is right, the front and rear tires are differant sizes. So unless dismount from the rims and only cross left to right, then it can't be done.

Smoke coming out your ears yet??? It can't be done. fronts are wider than the rears. And because they are directional and only roll one way, can't swap left or right sides either. You drive them til wore out and buy new ones.

I never knew that the fronts were wider than the rears on GXP's. Then again I'm not really a GP enthusiast just have one out of a mode of transportation :D

Yep sure are. That and no spare tire, but a can of fix a flat really gave the GXP some bad reviews. It pissed people off. I didn't know it either til after the ex gf at the time bought it and I went to do a 5000 mile tire rotation.
