Ok so I was checking on craigslist and a guy near me has a set of front&rear axles compleat for sale says the front is a dana 44 and rear is a 14bolt 10.5 inch 8 lug full float and both axles have 4.10 gears.
He said the guy he got them from pulled them from a 78 suburban.

Now will that rear fit into and bolt up to my truck 86 gmc sierra k2500
my rear end is a 14 bolt semi float 8 lug. And seeing my front axle is a dana 44 could I just pull the 4.10 gears and bolt them into mine? Or would I have to swap entire thing?

Both will bolt right in. IMO, swapping an axle is much faster than a gear swap for the average fella. And your stock front axle would have been a 8.5 10bolt, just in case you weren't aware.

So my drive shaft will bolt right up then? Also on the front axle to swap the gears isn't it just having to pull the front axles out a little then the diff and just swap it or no? Lol

Shaft will be a little short, but yes it will bolt up and work.

You can't just install the gears, you have to set them up too.
