So...I have had this 1976 K10 for just over a year. It has a 4" lift on it and when I turn the wheel to the left the drivers side of the truck lifts up. I have owned a lot of newer trucks that have all had lifts on them and none of them did this. Maybe it's normal...but I just want to make sure. I'm thinking about replacing the 4" lift so that I can replace the rear blocks with springs.

When set up correctly, the steering geometry will lift each side in turn. This aids the steering to return to center. If one side is lifting more than the other something is not right.

That makes me feel a little better. I'll have to double check and measure how much lift per side. I think that I'm going to replace all the steering components anyway...they are not the newest!
