Picked up an old foot switch...

I want to re-wire some aux lights to it.

Switch has 3 wires coming from it, A - B - C on the switch.

Im guessing one is power in - power out and ground...??

Sounds right. Tan for a second set?

Now you're giving me ideas.

You would only be able to use one curcit at a time. Power one set of lights to the green and one set of lights to the tan and alternate to either or but not at the same time.

Old C10...honestly dont remember

Interesting, my 70's trucks have just a regular looking plug. Must be an early 80's thing.

That has nothing to do with the dimmer switch, they are on simultaneously because of a jump wire(factory) at the headlight plug.

Ewwww, I'm loving this idea. All my trucks are 84 or later so they are Multifuncion Switch. I can add a foot switch too for Aux lighting too. That's a badass idea.

I always wanted to install one for an Ejection seat and Electronic Door Popper. The bitch get's mouthy, I stop, hit the switch, door pops open, seat dumps her out, nail the throttle to take off, the door closes and problem solved !!! No more whining and bitching. :waytogo:

Got to remember one thing, if you run two different things in this switch you will have to put a toggle on the power source to turn them both off.
