Are these original style floor mats used around 85? They were in the truck when I got it.

Yes. I have a set in my 'burb, along with the matching long narrow ones that go in front of the middle and rear seats.

This is the original 1981 in my GMC Sierra Classic 1500.
Anybody have any ideas or know a way to restore them? I have scrubbed them a few times with soap and water they look better but........... 3A46C8B7-80C1-4872-8282-0A53F3928BDF.jpeg

If you can find some that doesn't make it slippery. Otherwise you might as well put on clown shoes and throw some oranges on the floorboards just for the added fun.

True.. i was thinking about it. I was thinking maybe one could restore the color and maybe use a smal amount of polish or cutting compound to freshen the surface.. but im not sure how it wouldbehave
