soo on my 86 k20 i am having issues with the driver side upper part of the fender rubbing against bottom of the cab that wraps around the windshied. i dont have a picture at the moment i know it may be kind of hard to visualize.

My door gaps are very good and i see that to fix my rubbing issue my driver side fender has to come forward just a bit to line up with the hood. but if i do that i think my door/fender gap will be too big.

any ideas? ill try to get a pic to make more sencse of this

Ok lol just wanted to ask. The core supports on these trucks are known to rot out up here in the east, along with mounting hardware... **** everything rots out around here.

Yup! you need to pull that fender forward, possibly from the core support, then align your hood. What condition are your body mounts in? Is it just the driver side that looks like that, or both? mine wasn't that bad, when I put new body mount bushings, I was able to line up all the body panels. You might just have a loose fender or core though.

new body mounts and new GM core support. i will try to pull that fender up. my other concern is pulling the fender up will make tha door and fender gap huge! and it wont match the other side.. My issue is on the driver side, my passanger side is fine

I agree with 89Sub, it looks like you might be missing some body shims behind that fender. If the gap between the fender and door gets too big, you can adjust the door forward a little bit too.
