Got any pics of them? You may not need to buy them from Ford.

This is interesting, I am excited to see this.

I like OEM bolts, I just clean them up in my parts washer.

To make it easier on you dave, I have seen a tumbler deal filled with rocks that vibrates for cleaning your small fasteners. You just throw them in and the come out looking brand new.

x2.

As for any unique bolts you can't find at the hardware store? Check through ARP, and the resto parts places. If all else fails, wire wheel that bitch and run a die over it.

Would like more info please? Where to buy?

In grade 8? Even the big bolt that uses 1 1/8 socket?

I thought about just doing that. Running a wire wheel on them with the electric angle grinder then paint the purple power de ruster then black them black. Then they will look good as new again.

McMaster-Carr carries a pretty good variety of bolts, including stainless. There are a few places where I plan to use stainless instead of the factory/garden variety hardware store bolts, namely the suspension.

The big one hold the radial arm onto one of the Ibeam suspension and holds the coil spring on too. The little bolt and nut hold the shock absorber on the radial arm.
