Thanks for adding me to the group… I have a 1980 Eldorado RV toy hauler, and that is all I know about it. Engine and transmission are shot and seriously thinking about finally getting her out of storage and rebuilding it…Would love any info you could help me with… Thanks in advance

Thanks… bought this 11 years ago and had planned to turn it into a car hauler… So far as I can figure, these were pretty rare when made, they just didn’t make that many I don’t believe… Someone a few years ago told me that there was only was 4 or 5 of these left… not sure of that either…

I could see maybe 4 or 5 of that specific version from that company. But there were others. Ford variants did seem much more common though.

Welcome from AZ. Engine could be a 454/7.4L Mark IV in that. Odds are good it has a 400 series transmission. How many bolt rear axle on it will tell you a lot. And this one is the first one I've seen since I was a teenager. Looks like it's been taken care of regarding storage at least.
