My truck (85 K20) was from the left coast and had Cali emissions on it with the air pipes into the paper towel rolls that double as an exhaust manifold. I got everything off today but have the large threaded holes to fill. I think they are 7/8" (thats about what they mic at) but have seen both 14 and 15 thread pitches available.

Anyone already do this and know a PN or at least a size? I can find what it is with my pipe but would rather get it found or ordered ASAP.

Thanks much.

My bet would be 1/2-14 NPT threads, however if you got a welder just cut the tubes from the fittings and weld the holes up.

I suppose the direct way is to weld the original end shut. I took the pipe to Parker Triad - he said the thread is M22 x 1.25. They have no direct fitting plugs and the one thats close was $14. Forget that.

I had two 1/2" brass plugs - no idea why - and some 2400 degree muffler cement. Plug went in - isn't coming out.

These manifolds will be on a boat to China next year to make new Fords anyways.....so meh.
