Edelbrock 750 to SMALL??

I have a newly rebuilt 454 with .23 domed pistons and stock 781 heads with a lunati voodoo hydraulic flat tapper cam with an advertised duration of 276/284 and a lift of .554/.572. My intake is a gm high rise cast iron intake and an edelbrock 750 with an electric fuel pump. Is my edelbrock to small? Should I get my 750 demon rebuilt and run it?! Hp and torque with demon on?!

Which carb? 1407 or 1411? The 1407 is more performance oriented, the 1411 more suited to fule economy But a 750 or 770 Holley might be a better fit for your combo. An old school 80508 would work well, as would a 3310 if you don't want an electric choke. A good later model choice would be the 86770 Ultra Street Avenger.

Ah, just read where you also have a 750 Demon. That would be my choice over a 1411, but maybe not a 1407. One nice thing about the Edelbrocks is they run pretty well out of the box, but they're not as tuneable as Holleys or Demons.
